Tenacity and consistency is what builds results
It's true for your business and it's also true outside of business.
But there's a method to it. You have to know how to give yourself some parameters to increase the odds of success. Here are a few things to consider:
1️⃣ Expect a few initial setbacks
2️⃣ Understand how to respond and give yourself some space to do that
3️⃣ Get on the same page with other stakeholders about your plans
4️⃣ Recognize what happened in the short term to build long term solutions
Last weekend, we saw this watching the National Football League (NFL) playoffs on NBC Sports when the Bears play the Los Angeles Rams.
Quarterback Caleb Williams was out of time and out of plays to tie the game. He saw LA's defensive ends closing in. Then he scrambled backwards???
But the extra space gave him the ability to threw this amazing touchdown pass to send the game into overtime.
It also happened because Kmet (the wide receiver) didn't give up on the play and continued to jockey with the defense to get open and catch the ball.
They didn't win the game, but everyone sure learned a lot to improve in the future.
🏈 Today's Business Lesson 🏈
If you have a hashtagsales or a hashtagmarketing campaign that doesn't produce the results you want, take a step back and look at your hashtagdashboard and your hashtaganalytics to figure out what went wrong. Then talk to your team and take the next action! Full Disclosure:
I'm a Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan going way back to the Vinny Testaverde days. But I lived in Chicago for about a year and I have a special spot in my heart for that city. Especially since the Chicago Bears were usually next to us at the bottom of the old NFC Central division for so many years.
Does your business measure up?
Like your car, the engine that powers your Sales and Marketing needs a dashboard. It's what tells you whether your business is thriving or sputtering out.
