Keeping Your First Working Day in a Productive 2026?

Michael Tucker

On this first working day of 2026, did you "hit the ground running?" Or did you kind of slog through it trying to figure out where to begin?

At 5pm look back at what happened... If today wasn't quite what you expected, revisit your weekly calendar to match your actions with that big annual strategic plan for your organization.

From a #business development perspective, find the calendars for your different parts of your business... Microsoft Outlook, ActiveCampaign (shown below), Google Analytics. There has to be a certain amount of activity to keep your momentum going.

  • Content Creation
  • Page Views
  • Form Fills
  • Prospect Conversations
  • Other milestones relevant to your specific type of business

Your #calendar doesn't have to be flawless or perfect, but it can't be empty either. So go back to your mission in your role and for your organization and just put in items that relate to that mandate. Then rinse, repeat, and update as you need.
