Marketo Minutes: Adding Domains in Marketo

Michael Tucker

Growing a company comes in many forms, from expanding and creating new product lines to mergers and acquisitions. No matter the method, these changes impact the marketing department in multiple ways. One such example is being able to send emails from a new, or acquired, domain name without purchasing a new Adobe Marketo Engage Instance. In this week’s Marketo Minutes episode, Michael Tucker demonstrates how to update the domain names used in your Adobe Marketo Engage Instance to accommodate your growing business.

Before sending out any emails using your new email addresses, you will need to configure the domain to your Adobe Marketo Engage Instance, so any emails sent through the domain are certified by Marketo to protect your current sender reputation. Should you send out an email not setup in Marketo, you risk it being marked as spam and not reaching your target audience. During the Marketo Minutes episode, Michael will walk you through how to add your new domain into your admin panel, however, you will need to either have access to your corporate server settings or work with your IT department to complete the configuration. Should your instance deal with multiple workspaces or partitions,
contact Conversion Store for assistance with configuring your new domain. Additional information about domains in Adobe Marketo Engage can be found in our blog Deep Dive: Using Marketo for Multiple Domain Names and Marketo User Group recording.
